Himley drive-in showreel

Himley Hall and Park will be the spectacular backdrop to four days of drive-in movies this June.

Thursday June 24 starts the marathon event with a kids theme, which will have special appearances of characters from the films starting with Trolls: World Tour with stars Poppy and Branch at 11am.

Paddington is next at 5pm with the bear himself making an appearance at this showing.

Thursday’s screenings conclude with family favourite Mamma Mia at 8.15pm.

On Friday June 25 it’s chick flicks favourites day with Dirty Dancing at 5pm followed by Pretty Woman at 8.15pm.

The weekend cranks up with car themes on Saturday June 26. The morning starts with the animated film, Cars at 10.30am followed by the all-time classic Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang at 1.45pm. Mini Club enthusiasts will be visiting the site and watching during the afternoon with screenings of the two versions of The Italian Job, firstly starting at 5.45pm with the remake film of 2003 starring Mark Wahlberg and ending the day with the true classic 1969 version starring Michael Caine at 8.30pm.

As we are unable to bring the usual Armed Forces Day to Himley Hall this year, due to Covid-19, we are screening two military films to mark the day instead on Sunday June 27 with the Stephen Spielberg-directed War Horse at 1pm followed by the classic The Great Escape starting at 5pm.

Buy your car ticket for £20 plus £3 for each person watching the film.
