Enjoy a family-friendly, 45-minute canal boat trip and learn about the mining and canal heritage of these amazing limestone mines. The visitor centre houses a cafe restaurant called the 'Gongoozler' with balcony overlooking the boats, educational space, function room for private hire and Biffa Award exhibition gallery. The trust runs special events throughout the year including Santa specials in December. They are also licensed for civil weddings.
