Where to Eat
There is a variety of places to eat and drink across the borough town centres, visitor attractions, hotels, pubs and restaurants, at My Merry Hill as well as nearby Castlegate in Dudley. They cater for all tastes and serve cuisine from every corner of the globe.
If it’s a drink you are after, we have so much choice from independent craft beers to traditional old-fashioned pubs where you can enjoy a pint and a cob. At the Waterfront in Brierley Hill, you can try award winning coffee, locally produced spirits and ‘Black Country Tapas’.
Or if you are after something a little more refined, then a delightful Afternoon Tea is served across a number a few of our venues, including the historic Himley Hall.
Enjoy some tasty fittle (food) as you explore Black Country Living Museum. From their famously bostin’ fish with chips served in traditional beef dripping to traditional kali and bonbons, there’s something for every savoury and sweet tooth. With two licensed pubs on site, why not wash it down with a pint from the Elephant & Castle Pub or a dandelion & burdock from the Bottle & Glass Inn.
So why not come and lick your lips and sink your teeth into our ‘bostin fittle’ washed down with a pint of ale. (Great food in Black Country Spake)!
