The borough of Dudley has lots of beautiful parks, countryside and nature reserves giving you the opportunity to explore and get healthy outside.

Public parks

​There are five public parks in Dudley Borough:

The parks are open every day with free access and in most cases, there are car parking facilities. They also offer a range of recreational facilities, events, and activities.  

There is also Himley Hall and Park which offers a range of facilities for the whole family, including a woodland play area and coffee lounge open daily.

Healthy Hubs

Four of the borough's parks have been identified as Healthy Hubs. Each of the hubs has an Activity Centre, a free outdoor gym and dedicated members of staff who deliver a regular programme of events and activities for all ages and abilities:

Nature Reserves

Dudley borough boasts a number of local nature reserves and national nature reserves  showcasing the areas rich flora, fauna, geology and heritage. Walks and events are held at each nature reserve throughout the year. 

All nature reserves have free public access seven days a week. Some car parks may be closed outside of normal working hours. Please enquire with the warden team before travelling if you require further information or special assistance.
